It\u2019s time for revenge for Eye of the Tiger. After seeing Ramadan Hiseni upset Shamil Khataev and Alexandre Gaumont, two-time world title challenger Steven Butler will look to restore EOTTM\u2019s honor against the Swiss contender in a WBA Continental super middleweight championship bout on March 5 at the Casino de Montr\u00e9al.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cHiseni represents a big risk\u2014I know that better than anyone. For me and EOTTM, this is a revenge fight, but for Steven, it\u2019s his chance to prove he\u2019s a serious contender at super middleweight,\u201d said Camille Estephan<\/strong>, president of the Montreal-based promotion.<\/p>\n

\u201cHiseni has already caused two upsets in Quebec. It\u2019s clear we can\u2019t take him lightly\u2014but enough is enough. On March 5, the job will get done. If he\u2019s expecting the same result as the first two times, he\u2019s the one who will be surprised,\u201d promised Butler<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Montreal puncher Steven \u201cBang Bang\u201d Butler (37-5-1, 31 KOs)<\/strong> is more dangerous than ever since moving up to super middleweight. Over the past year, he has fought three times, earned three victories, and scored three knockouts\u2014most notably winning a rematch against Jose Macias and a local showdown against St\u00e9phane Fondjo. Seeking a fourth straight win, the 30-year-old veteran is determined not to fall into the same trap as his EOTTM teammates as he prepares for the 44th fight of his career.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe moving up to super middleweight was the best decision Steven has made in his entire career. Over the last three fights, I\u2019ve seen him reborn in the gym. He\u2019s stronger, more powerful, and has better stamina. He has a champion\u2019s mindset, and now he has all the tools to become one,\u201d added Butler\u2019s trainer, John Scully<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Pride of Zurich, Switzerland, Ramadan Hiseni (22-2-2, 8 KOs)<\/strong> is far from unfamiliar territory as he approaches his third fight in Quebec. In June 2024, Hiseni spoiled the EOTTM debut of Shamil Khataev by fighting him to a 10-round draw at the Casino de Montr\u00e9al. Believing he deserved the win, he rolled up his sleeves and returned to Quebec to challenge Alexandre Gaumont last December. This time, he left no doubt, winning by unanimous decision and handing Gaumont the first defeat\u2014and first knockdown\u2014of his career.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs with Khataev and Gaumont, my mindset is the same: veni, vidi, vici. I expect the result to be the same as well. To boxing fans around the world: I promise a high-level fight, and above all, I promise victory on March 5,\u201d said Hiseni<\/strong>, who already has four bouts at super middleweight.<\/p>\n

In the co-main event, top-3 WBA world-ranked contender Lenar Perez (15-0, 14 KOs)<\/strong> will make his long-awaited EOTTM debut. He will vie for the WBC Continental light heavyweight title against the indestructible African veteran Isaac Chilemba (27-10-3, 11 KOs)<\/strong>. Like Hiseni, this will be Chilemba\u2019s third fight in Quebec. In March 2015, he handed Vasily Lepikhin his first loss on the undercard of the first Sergey Kovalev\u2013Jean Pascal bout. That November, he dropped a hotly contested majority decision to Eleider Alvarez. Known for his durability, the former world title challenger has been stopped only twice in 40 fights. He is also the only man to have gone the distance with feared Osleys Iglesias, in a 12-round bout in Poland in 2022.<\/p>\n

Adding a fourth championship bout to the card, WBC Continental super lightweight champion Jhon \u201cEl Tigre\u201d Orobio (16-0, 14 KOs)<\/strong> will make his third title defense against Puerto Rican contender Yomar Alamo (22-5-1, 13 KOs)<\/strong>. Starting the year ranked No. 15 in the WBC world rankings, Orobio will be seeking a fourth straight knockout after stopping former world champion Xolisani Ndongeni in the second round of their November bout. However, the Marc Ramsay prot\u00e9g\u00e9 must beware of \u201cThe Magic\u201d Alamo. The 28-fight veteran has delivered competitive performances against Breyon Gorham, Jamaine Ortiz, and top prospect Delante \u201cTiger\u201d Johnson. In 2021, he even came within one round of upsetting future world champion Liam Paro, flooring him in the opening round.<\/p>\n

Also on the card, former world title challenger Steve \u201cThe Dragon\u201d Claggett (39-8-2, 27 KOs)<\/strong> will make a highly anticipated return after spending 2025 sidelined by injury.
